Tonight i entered the styling event Creative Indian, This is my description.......
Namaste (Hello) everyone. My name is Steph Lytham. Welcome to todays styling event creative Indian theme. Namaste is Hindi for Hello.
I'd like to greet Steve and Anrol and our Judge Nina this evening, and hello to this lovely audience.
So today I will give you a little lesson on Indian dress.
I have chosen to wear a red Sari from Bare Rose. Traditionally an Indian bride would wear a red sari, but this has expanded to other colours over time. Saris are a graceful elegant clothing. Ones made out of silk are the most elegant and lots of people love them. A sari, is a long sheet of colourful cloth with patterns. This is draped over a simple or fancy blouse called a choli.
The bindi (also from Bare Rose) is said to retain energy and strengthen concentration, so i'm hoping this will help me today lol. It is also said to protect against demons or bad luck. According to followers of Hinduism, this chakra is the exit point for kundalini energy.
My mehndi on my hands is from my old library content and is an important Vedic custom as a symbolic representation of the Outer and the Inner Sun. Traditionally tumeric paste or henna was used.
My dark hair is from Calico Ingmann, skin is from Laq enhanced with makeup from Noya and my sandals are from VioMagic. My Bollywood dance poses are from AAA.
I hope you enjoyed my little Indian belly dance and have learned a few facts you didn't know about Indian dress.
Thank you all for listening!
Here are the 3 winners and their descriptions. Well done to them!

Good Eveing/ Afternoon ladies and Gents, welcome to ourstyling contest Creative Indian theme,
Tonight i come to you as the tradional indian bride.
Your wedding is one of the most significant and memorable events of your life. It is the beginning of a wonderful journey with the one you love, the uniting of families and the bonding of two souls.
Indian Bride: On her wedding day, an Indian bride comes across as a picture of beauty and grace. While all the guests appreciate the way she is looking, hardly a few of them are aware of how much preparation goes into 'being an Indian bride'. Right from trying a thousand outfits, to finding matching jewelry to taking care of the skin and buying just the right 'matching' accessories, she has to undertake a lot of efforts, to look her very best.
Fashion designers have made it easier with new ways to drape wedding saris which are very popular among present generation. Indian saris, having a sensuous and elegant look, are available in different fabrics such as cotton, silk, georgettes and crape. These saris, in enchanting colors, have embroidered borders and pallu woven in golden threads. Very precious saris have golden designs all over the material. Latest saris, coming in different varieties and designs have a lot of work done on them, such as zari, embroidery, organza, zardosi, sequence, cut works, mirror works, patch work, pearl work, kasab, kundan etc.
Usually accessories are added, including bangles, anklets, earrings, nose rings, large neckless's jumka, jumar, anklets, Tikka, bracelets.

Good day everyone, im Elmo. Il give u a short brief information about my outfit today.
To the native indians, music and dance are also part of their lives. We already known them by their looks, clothes, paint or tattoes and most of all their famous tent house and weapons.
Dancing for them is not only a past time or a hubby but to express their feelings and prayer through offering a ritual dance.
There are many kinds of style and clothes depends to the ritual they want to do. Theres a Lakota Sundance, Wolf dance, Buffalo dance, Ghost dance, Omaha dance and Warrior dance.
And right now, im wearing a native outfit as a Lakota Warrior dancer with a symbolic tattoo and strong aura. And before we fight, we dance and prepared our mind and soul for our battle and ask for guidance and be blessed from our ancestors and Gods.
