BellaDonna Fashion Show

What a great time I had tonight! The BellaDonna show was fab! A great collection of summery colours. Very current maxi style dresses and beautiful patterns inspired by stained glass windows. They took me back to being a kid in church on a Sunday morning, staring up at the beautiful colours in the stained glass windows then following the patterns to the floor where they were reflected by the sun shining through them. These would be a great relaxed look for a summer wedding outfit. I didn't know where to look! I'd love to buy them all!
The Summer breeze collection was equally lovely with little bandeau tops in gorgeous summer colours to show off that suntan. Perfect for the beach or a summer party.
I really loved the Calypso collection in eye popping colours, cute tops with a ruffle trim and maxi skirts in a tie dye print. These were one my favourite outfits in the range, shown in soft blue and  bright pink. The girls really rocked these neon shades.
The final outfits were just stunning! A lovely timeless black dress with embellishment on the chest. Elegant but still comfortable to wear with it's relaxed shape. Everyone looked so beautiful! Debbie looked gorgeous in her  strapless white lace dress positioned front centre, with all the models around her in their elegant black dresses.

Just when I thought the show couldn't get any better my name was called to feature in the video wearing an outfit from the BellaDonna range! I was soooo pleased to be chosen. Anrol passed me the outfit and I couldn't believe it was the pink Calypso dress I'd admired earlier in the show. 'm gonna be wearing this outfit a LOT this summer!
Then onto the video. We all took our positions on stage and Debbie drove us on her huddle. We ran through some poses then onto the dance. It was great fun and you know what?? I felt like a real model for those few minutes I was up there with the other girls. It was brilliant! It's really spurred me on to work as hard as I can in my training at UCWS because I want to be a model so much. I'm smiling from ear to ear while I'm writing this even though it's 4am here in the UK. I just had to write up this post while that feeling was fresh in me. I don't know how fresh i'll be tomorrow having such a late night but it will be worth all the late nights...... when I get to stand on that runway in a few weeks time at my graduation.
Hugs to all and I hope you enjoy the little slideshow I have made of the show. :-)

Glamorous Business Woman/Man Styling Event

Last night I entered my second styling event at CWS as a student. It was a special one with a huge prize, sponsored by Brianna Deka. The winners were as follows:-
SassyLassy Resident won 5000L
Meime Shiu won 3000L
Lopez Fairlady won 2000L
Well done to everyone who entered! You all did an awesome job!

Don't the winners look great?

Here's my description of what I wore:-

Hello, my name is Steph Lytham. Welcome to todays CWS styling Glamorous Businesswoman for the SLNFL Official Jeweler Contest.
I'd like to take this opportunity to thank you all for coming and a special thanks to Steve, Anrol and our judges today. I hope you are all having a great time at this event.

Today I have chosen a smart black dress, a simple feminine design from Earth and Sky. I've teamed it with semi opaque tights and classy black shoes from N=Core. Due to chilly UK weather I added a jacket from SAS with a contrasting silver belt. You can't go wrong with a good black dress for the office, which can also take me through to an evening meeting in a restaurant with some clients. My pulled up hairstyle is from Plume, and for a little sparkle I have added a matching ring and earrings from Finesmith. I feel the outfit has the business edge but still remains glamorous. Finally my glasses perched on my nose are from Maschienenwerk.
As a busy business woman I wouldn't be complete with out my trusty Iphone. as you can see it's glued to my hand. Oh I have a conference call coming through I need to take, I must dash! Have a great day and thank you!

CWS & the blog creating class

Hello all and welcome to my first blog post at the start of my Model training at UCWS. The first week of training is over and what a week it has been! Very busy but i'm really enjoying it and have met some lovely people who are in my class. That staff at UCWS are wonderful and are always on hand to give help and advice.
Now the most difficult thing I have had to do up to now is create this blog. I have never blogged before so this is all very new to me. I've spent the last three hours setting up my blog and choosing templates etc, getting to grips with paint and just finding my way around. Big thanks to all who i've been pestering in IM and UCWS group chat today. You know who you are!
